Emergency lighting

Emergency lighting

Escape routes lit when the power fails — installed, tested and certified for commercial premises and HMOs.

01The detail

When the power fails, emergency lighting is what turns a dark building into a safe exit. TJC Fire & Electrical install, test and certify emergency lighting for commercial premises, HMOs and communal areas across Dorset, Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

Design, installation and testing

Escape routes, open areas and high-risk task areas lit to the building’s layout; maintained and non-maintained fittings specified to how each space is used; and the periodic testing and certification that keeps the system compliant year on year. Our guide to emergency lighting facts covers the basics.

Part of the same fire-safety package

Emergency lighting is assessed in every fire risk assessment and usually installed alongside fire alarm and detection work — one team, one written price, one set of certificates.
